Don't touch that dial; we're just getting started!

As painful as saying "so long for now" to my Healer characters, I have decided to try another story line and a different world for my second book. However, I do have plans to go back to Althea and Galen for a sequel for my third. I just cannot say goodbye to them for long!

My second book will be titled "The Seer and the Dreamers." I am loving the romantic element I have going as it somewhat follows little scenarios I would have in my head as a youthful dreamer lying in bed at night. And speaking of dreams, that is a big part of the story.

In a kingdom securely bordered on all sides by Ocean and Mountain secure, an invading ruler takes his place on the throne. His first act is to survey his new kingdom, but it actually seems like he is searching for something...something very specific. In the village of Mistar there is a young woman, and it seems his search ends with her. He orders he to serve him at the elaborate palace in the royal city of Draumrfold.

But to what end?

Nara is no ordinary village girl. She is a Dream Dancer. She was blessed at birth with the ability to go into people's dreams, live them, interpret them, and help people sort the truth in the messages of their dreams. But the life of a Dream Dancer is a secluded one. Under the influence of a stoic ministry, Dreamers are secretly requested when assistance is needed or openly shunned in society. Thus the meek Nara is comfortably resolved to a quiet life. And then everything changes with the new King. And he is not what he seems.

The main theme of this story will be Truth vs Deception. My Healer story had elements of this, but it was far more Good vs Evil. In this story, selflessness and truth SEE far clearer than selfishness and manipulation.

This world will be delving into more Celtic folklore for its mystic elements and even has creatures like the fossegrim (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fossegrim).

Be on the lookout for future updates! I plan to have a cover unveiling on October 31st!
