The Seer and the Dreamers

Your Nightmares are screaming out to you. Can you hear them? They need you to know something. They won’t rest until you do.

The world has never made it easy on the Dream Dancers. All but shunned by the people they aided, those who danced within dreams are asked always in secret to use their gifts to rescue humanity from their nightmares. One Dream Dancer was special - if only she could find a way to believe it. Nara held one of most gracious hearts in this time. She was often thrust into other people’s Hells, for she believed every soul deserved help in the place they hadn’t the strength to fight on their own. She could always suffer for others. Suffering for herself was harder.

Nara had no idea the battles she would face after the striking new King of Daya stole her away from all she ever knew to serve him at the castle. The High Priestess despised her fully, and the King himself is not what he seems to be. Now reckless fantasy and merciless ambition has set about a cosmic game where all the stakes rest upon Nara, she just doesn’t know it yet.

This story features a female character at odds with her own self image constantly battling with her own ability to love herself.  How can one overcome trauma when it is buried so deep that it has become part of one's own internal voice?  How can one rise to all they are destined for when they cannot believe they are worthy of more?  The protagonist of the story must battle these very same battles; so much depends on her ability to do so.

With themes of truth and deception, reality versus dreams, and the pushed boundaries of how far myths can go, this book has elements to intrigue every lover of fantasy, tenacious characters, beautiful scenery, and multi-level mystery.

The Healer in the Mist

Magic is replaced with fear and desolation, and each day is survive, adapt, run, or hide. Althea remembers the time before the Immortuos, the Purple Mist, and she may be the only Healer left with the enchantments to stop it.

But in her past there is a demon. Always fear. Fear beyond the Immortuous, fear beyond the Purple Mist, fear that took her to Base Village, her Majesty's court, and the love the consumed her and violently devoured her.

Fear is present in the never knowing, and nothing in this world embraces anymore.

"A female voice in a transitory time and place, so much like today yet not of this time, so much like days past but nowhere remembered. Very Shakespearean."
